VA Consultants works in close partnership with Just Eat, an online service that connects independent takeaway food outlets with customers. Headquartered in the UK, the organisation operates in 13 countries.

Founded in 2001, the organisation has over 29,000 participating restaurants. It ranked number 31 in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 and won the Best Brand Award. In 2013, it generated £96.8 million in revenue. The business is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

VA Consultants has designed and currently delivers two levels of leadership programme. Both programmes align closely with the organisation’s business strategy and people strategy.

Senior Leadership Programme

Rapid organisational growth created the need to expand board capability and strengthen leadership at the top. VA Consultants designed the Senior Leadership Programme (SLP) for directors and managing directors across the organisation. The programme develops leaders to operate with greater impact and confidence at board level.

Participants engage in a development process that drives cultural change, modern leadership behaviours, and new ways of thinking. Senior leaders lead this shift from the top down to embed the right culture, enable innovation, and build agility in fast-changing and ambiguous markets. The SLP follows a multi-modular structure covering Leadership Agility, People Agility, Business Agility, and Cultural Agility.

Advanced Leadership Programme

The organisation recognises the importance of developing high-potential talent at senior management level. This focus supports a sustained culture of strong leadership, high performance, and positive change.

VA Consultants designed the Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP) as a multi-modular programme running over 10 months. The programme begins with a development centre that identifies individual strengths and development needs. This approach builds self-awareness, improves awareness of others, and helps participants gain maximum value from the programme. Subsequent modules focus on Leading Self & Others, Leadership Dialogue, and Leading Change.

Both the SLP and ALP include coaching throughout the programme. Coaching connects each module and supports one-to-one conversations focused on learning, application, and reflection. These discussions take place in a confidential, non-judgemental environment.

VA Consultants designed both programmes to complement one another and reinforce shared leadership expectations. Together, they support delivery of the business strategy through people. The programmes introduce leading learning concepts that continue to deliver strong results and generate demand for further development across the organisation.
