Joel built his professional foundation on a hands-on philosophy. After completing his A-Levels, he entered the workforce immediately to fast-track his sales and interpersonal skills. As a result, he progressed quickly into management within the electrical retail sector.

He then transitioned into the high-end luxury car market, where he specialised in complex, high-value transactions. During this time, Joel refined his ability to manage premium client relationships and built a strong reputation for exceptional client engagement.

Today, as Engagement and Growth Lead at VA, Joel plays a pivotal role in driving brand progression and strategic business development. In this capacity, he focuses on high-level relationship management while ensuring that business growth is supported by a sophisticated, bespoke client experience. Moreover, his approach blends natural commercial drive with a sharp awareness of market opportunities, allowing him to consistently elevate VA’s brand presence.

Outside of work, Joel maintains an active lifestyle and a strong connection to the arts. He regularly plays squash and enjoys the fast-paced intensity of the game. In addition, he has a deep appreciation for cinema and musical composition. This passion culminated in seeing Hans Zimmer live, an experience that continues to influence his creative thinking, problem-solving, and approach to brand storytelling.
